Wood Frog
The wood frog is one of nature’s most astonishing survival stories. When winter comes, this small frog can stop breathing, stop its heartbeat, and allow much of its body to freeze. It may look completely lifeless, but inside, its cells are protected by special natural chemicals that help prevent deadly damage from ice.
Then, when warmer weather returns, the frozen wood frog thaws. Its heart starts beating again, it begins to breathe, and it comes back to life.
This tiny frog reveals an incredible system of protection, timing, and survival — a frozen body with life preserved inside.
Where there is a brilliant design, there is a brilliant Creator.
